Taarten en paascadeaus

De dochter is thuis.

Eerst heeft ze voor ons gebakken. Kleine appeltaartjes en grote rijsttaarten.Vooral haar vader en haar broer houden enorm van dit soort gebak en ze wil hen een onvergetelijke Pasen bezorgen.

De taarten zien er heerlijk uit. Proeven volgt later.

The daughter's is back home.
She  baked us small apple tarts and a big large rice tart. Her father and her brother love this kind of pastry and she wants to give them an unforgettable Easter.
Everything looks delicious. We’ll taste them later on.

Ik ben volledig overweldigd en betoverd door haar aankopen:

1)      Alle benodigdheden om een heuse dachshund in elkaar te breien van het label “best in show”. Via deze link kan je een gratis patroon voor een corgi downloaden.

Ik weet eigenlijk niet waarom mijn blog “dachshund” heet, terwijl ik eigenlijk nog veel meer fan ben van corgi’s. Als er hier ooit nog een hond in huis komt, is het 100% zeker een corgy.

I am absolutely mesmerized because:

1)      I got everything to knit a real dachshund by the label “best in show”. Here you can get a free download to knit a corgi.

Januari patchworkmaand

 

Traditiegetrouw is voor mij januarimaand patchworkmaand. Al meer dan 10 jaar zet de winterkou me aan het naaien. Alleen niet de voorbije januarimaand, want toen ben ik met de 'dachshund'gestart en al mijn gesukkel en geklungel als onervaren blogger heeft me al meer uren gekost dan een deken quilten.

Traditionally for me  the month of January is patchworkmonth.
 For over 10 years, the wintercold has induced  me to sew. But not so during  the past month of January, because  Istarted  the dachshundblog took more hours of fumbling - inexperienced as I am- than quilting a  blanket.
